Scary Moment for CNN's Sidner in Mumbai

I watched CNN off and on Wednesday following the Mumbai crisis, but hardly at all on Thanksgiving Day and it seems that's when the following incident happened. Some Mumbai residents, frustrated and possibly inebriated, rushed CNN anchor Sara Sidner, kept screaming at her, and knocked over the camera man. The video, which I learned of through HP, is unsettling, showing how dangerous it can be for journalist to cover stories about violence, terrorism and war in particular.

Today much of the news about Mumbai seems to tell of the American victims of the violence, such as Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, of Brooklyn, NY, and father and daughter Alan Scherr and 13-year-old Naomi Scherr, members of a Virginia meditation group.

NYT reports that the fighting in Mumbai is down to one hotel, but five were killed at the Jewish Center seized by terrorists. The Journalism site in Great Britain has interviews and video from Mumbai bloggers.
