Video: Obama Votes with Wife Michelle in Chicago, Daughters in Tow

Presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, voted early this morning in their home town of Chicago, Il. Their daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, stood by their sides. If Obama wins, he will be the first African-American President of the United States of America. Here's video of the big vote.

Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, who died in Hawaii Sunday night, sent in an absentee ballot and most likely voted for her grandson, whom she helped to raise. While she will not see who wins the election, her vote will count, according to ABC News, because she cast it before her death.

And as already blogged, I voted this morning also, listened to my fellow voters in the line, and will head to Starbucks later for my free cup of coffee. I guess I should order something else with it because that's part of why they're doing this promotion right, to draw us in and upsell us to extra goodies? Doesn't matter. It's still a good deed in their column.

Pictures of Obama Days Gone By

The picture of Barack, Michelle, and their daughters comes from an Obama family slide show at The Huffington Post, where you will find multiple wonderful slide shows related to Obama and personal displays of affection. My favorites are the ones with babies and also older children. In addition, I like the Obama anniversary album, and the PDA with Hillary Clinton.

HuffPo also has an amusing but definitely biased slide show of John McCain with babies. You can see that one here.
