In the Middle Ages (a midlife poem)

In the Middle Ages
By Nordette Adams

I am writing poetry that speaks
to me
to me living
with memory like my mother's wide-brimmed hats
spiffy feather cocked right, erect
the touch of real fox at the collar on a stylin' black coat un
popular now.

Hey, got your comments. Thanks so much; it's weird to me that people on Jezebel find me all that funny. Mostly I just raise eyebrows and "Oh, she's so KOOKY" comments from others in the non internet world. I am reciprocally following you now :)
