Prince and the Obama Puppy: Connection?

I've already posted on the Obama puppy here, but shortly I'll be posting at BlogHer.com and include the controversy over the Obamas not choosing a shelter dog. Controversy. Always controversy. The first family can't even breathe when it comes to dog selection. Update: Here's the BlogHer post, "As the Tail Wags."

I personally do not think that the choice of a family pet is the business of the nation. Granted it would probably make animal activist happy if the Obamas did adopt a shelter dog.

But on the other hand, I know a little something about owning a dog. That is like adding a family member to your household. They have to consider allergies and most of all-what their daughters want in terms of a pet.

This is really a non-issue from where I sit. He is not in office to make everyone happy. He is there to lead the nation. Let Ellen have another shot at adopting a pet. Oprah is another good high profile person to adopt a shelter dog.

Everybody really needs to sit down and you know the rest of this saying about the dog.

I agree, and pretty much said that in the BlogHer post that I just published. That dog will be with them, more than likely, after he's out of office. Thank you, Deborah.
