What a great piece of little known history. I love stuff like this. If your prince hadn't landed in New Orleans, his family would have had to wash up in San Francisco, another city with a penchant for dreamers and misplaced "royalty". After all, we allowed a crazy street bum to crown himself Emperor Norton of These United States and Protector of Mexico back in the 1800s. He was even given a State funeral at his death. And of course, while alive, he got free drinks at every bar in town.
