Obama Gets the Bush Treatment: Boos and Cheers on First Pitch

President Barack Obama started the Washington Nationals baseball season with the ceremonial first pitch Monday. Dana Milbank writes at the Washington Post that Obama earned those boos. With perhaps a political pun, he analyzes the president's pitching skill and says the president threw "wild to the left," but keep in mind that Obama is actually left-handed.

Oh, this is America. We can boo the president.

Remember when Bush kicked off the Washington Nationals season in 2008? I think the boos were even louder than what President Obama received. And W. threw that baseball much better than he served his term.

In a separate story, WaPo has an historical overview of presidents pitching baseballs at this link.
