Does this Poem Look Illegal? Xenophobia

Everywhere A Native Born
By Nordette N. Adams

Americans love Lady Liberty.
Rabidly fascinated by her coveted
Island life, we imagine she is surrounded,
Zealously xenophobic, and loud like Texas patriots.
Owning a tuft of citizen green, Liberty, we think,
Nurses torch fire like doomsday prophets
Awaiting the brown apocalypse.

If the Lady could speak at this point in our national story, I wonder what she would say?
