From The Haunting to The Googling or Google Maps is Even More Evil When You've Had No Sleep
Apparently, I just don't spend enough time on YouTube, which is why my son, who knows I did not sleep much last night, decided to show me this hilarious Google Maps is Evil video aka The Googling Part I by the Vacationeers. And that after I stayed up too late again because I couldn't tear myself away from watching one of my favorite classic horror flicks, The Haunting (1963) starring Julie Harris. The original black and white version is way better than the 1999 remake with Lili Taylor, Liam Neeson, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
And the book by Shirley Jackson is better than both movies. I read it in my teens. You may recognize Jackson's name. She is also the author of the renowned short story "The Lottery."
If you like The Googling, you'll find an entire series of these comic shorts at YouTube. I hear my son in his room laughing at more of them now. God, he laughs just like his father, loose, loud and wild.
