That Was Gilles Marini on Castle of Brothers & Sisters

I'm a fan of ABC's Monday night mystery series Castle staring Nathan Fillion as mystery writer Richard Castle and Stana Katic as Kate Beckett. It's sort of screwball comedy at times with lots of silly puns and improbable circumstances, but I like it. The relationship between Castle and Kate and Castle, his mother, and daughter works and entertains.

gilles mariniTonight's episode, "Poof, you're dead," was about the murder of magic shop owner and offered me another treat, a guest appearance by Gilles Marini. The French-born actor told Parade.com he was excited to be a guest: "I love the show and watch it as a fan. The next thing I know, I'm getting a phone call saying, 'Do you want to be on Castle?' I'm like, 'Are you crazy? I'm watching every week. Absolutely!'" He played a hot magician in the episode, Tobias Strange.

You may recognize Gilles from Dancing with the Stars, a show I rarely watch, and Brothers & Sisters, another show that I like. On Brothers & Sisters he plays the sexy Luc Laurent, the smoldering love interest of Sarah Walker (Rachel Griffiths).
Born to a Greek mother and Italian father in Grasse, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, Marini worked in his father's bakery from the age of eight to his high-school graduation. Marini then joined the French army and was stationed in Paris, where he served as a fireman for the famous Paris Fire Brigade (Brigade des Sapeurs Pompiers de Paris). ... WHILE living and serving in Paris, he met the famous photographer Fred Goudon, who introduced him to the world of modeling.
Read Marini's bio at his website or follow him on Twitter. Oh là là!
