Michael Clarke Duncan Passes Away at 54

Via Morris Chestnut's Facebook page, I just learned of actor Michael Clarke Duncan's death. I have not been watching news much lately, so I did not hear of it sooner.

Chestnut said in his FB post, "RIP to Michael Clarke Duncan. A man with a tremendous spirit and great talent. It was an honor to have known you. You will be surely missed my brotha!"

I never saw Duncan in person, but whenever I saw him on screen I always had that feeling that he had a beautiful spirit. This news shocked me because to die at age 54 is to die too soon, and he always seemed so healthy and content. I even watched Fox's show The Finder a few times just to see him. He was a fine actor with a great voice.

According to CNN, Duncan, who was nominated for an Oscar in for his performance in The Green Mile, never fully recovered from a "myocardial infarction" he suffered earlier this summer.
