How much are your tears worth?

The Greenpeace Kleercut video campaign that takes on Kleenex's use of ancient boreal forests instead of recycled products so we can wipe our noses in style is brilliant. I wasn't posting anything at the time I first learned of the campaign and so am just getting around to mention it now.

You've probably seen the Kleenex man-woman on the street interviews (The Let It Out commercials) where a couch sits in the middle of a public area and people weep about important events in their lives or loved ones and later ask for a tissue. In opposition, the Kleercut Greenpeace video asks "How much are your tears worth?"

I met one of the young Greenpeace activists who produced this campaign. She's bright, confident, and obviously a talented person working with other talented people as you can see from this clever production.
